Dalian GlycoBio Company, Ltd., (GlycoBio) was founded in 2005 in the Northeast Chinese port city of Dalian. Dalian is one of China’s largest deep-water seaports providing rapid access to major seaports across the globe. 

GlycoBio produces a unique oligosaccharide, Chitosan Oligosaccharide, using a proprietary patented process of enzymatic hydrolysis and coupled membrane separation. GlycoBio, working with basic science developed by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has developed this new product and the production methods necessary for commercial development.
